BUYING ON OOSTOR.COM

HOW DO I PURCHASE ITEMS?

To purchase click Add To Cart for the item that you want, which will then be added to your basket. You can view your shopping cart or go to the Checkout. Items in your Shopping Cart are not reserved for you and are available for other people to buy until you purchase them. Items will not be reserved until you have paid the seller for them. If an item goes out of stock it will be shown as such.

DO YOU OFFER STUDENT DISCOUNT ON ITEMS TO BUY FROM OOSTOR.COM?

We do not offer student discount on items purchased via OOSTOR.COM, but there may be promotions and discount codes occasionally, so keep an eye out for these.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER

If you have contacted the seller and they have not responded to you within a reasonable time frame, get in touch with us at orders@oostor.com. 

 

PAYPAL

WHAT IS PAYPAL?

PayPal is a secure online payment method which allows you to pay or get paid quickly and easily without sharing any financial information. PayPal records your bank details and keeps them safe until you need access to them.

HOW DOES PAYPAL WORK ON OOSTOR.COM?

PayPal is used to process all OOSTOR.COM transactions. At the checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal to purchase your items. You can set up a PayPal account as part of the checkout process. When you buy an item a PayPal transaction is created between you and the seller for the total amount of the item, plus shipping. When you enter your login and payment details, the money will be transferred to the seller's PayPal account.

I CAN'T COMPLETE MY PURCHASE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Ensure you have sufficient funds in both your PayPal and bank accounts. If you have the available funds, there may be an issue with the recipient's PayPal account. Please message the seller via their storefront page. If you still experience problems, you may have to get in touch directly with PayPal to resolve the issue.

I CAN'T COMPLETE MY PURCHASE WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Ensure you have sufficient funds or credit in your bank account. If you have the available funds, there may be an issue with:

the billing address, is it correct and complete?

the 3-digit CV2 number on the reverse of your card, is it correct?

the card's speed limit, have you made multiple purchases elsewhere within a short space of time?

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PAYPAL PAYMENT TO CLEAR?

PayPal payments usually clear immediately. On some rare occasions PayPal payments fail. When this happens, check your PayPal or credit card account before repeating the purchase process.

WHAT PROTECTION DO I HAVE AS A CUSTOMER?

All transactions on OOSTOR.COM are made directly between the buyer using payment providers PayPal and the seller.

 

Orders paid with a PayPal account include Buyer Protection, a feature managed by PayPal. PayPal Buyer Protection should only be used as a final step if you cannot reach a resolution with the seller.

 

Orders can be placed with a credit or debit card via the OOSTOR.COM checkout through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account to purchase items from the store.

 

DELIVERY

WHERE IS MY ORDER?

Please contact the SELLER directly from the relevant order on your orders page. You can follow up your order and request any tracking information that will help locate your order.

MY ITEM WAS RETURNED, BUT THE SELLER HAS NOT PROCESSED THE REFUND

If the item you ordered was returned using a ‘sign for’ service, please check the item has reached its destination. If the item has been delivered or you’re unable to check, please contact the seller directly from the relevant order on your orders page. Then follow up on the progress of your refund or exchange. If you don’t receive a response after a reasonable period of time, then escalate the matter. The method of escalation will depend on the type of payment. If you have tried all methods of escalation, such as a PayPal dispute, but the issue is still unresolved, send your purchase confirmation email to delivery@oostor.com and we’ll try and help you resolve the matter.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO DELIVER MY ITEM?

This varies based on the stock levels and delivery method the seller will provide or that you have chosen. Where the item is being delivered from or to will have an impact on this. The seller will specify the shipping times on their listing. Deliveries within your country will usually be quicker than international deliveries, depending on the shipping method chosen. Some sellers use shipping services that will allow you to track the delivery. If you require more information, contact the seller directly.

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS CAN I CHOOSE?

You can select a number of shipping methods depending on what the seller can offer. If a shipping method you would like is not available, contact the seller directly and ask if they would be prepared to offer the alternative shipping method and add it to their listing.

WHY CAN'T I SELECT A SHIPPING OPTION?

If the seller hasn't included a shipping option to your region, then there may be one or little option. Message the seller to ask them if they dispatch to your destination or if they would be happy to make an exception.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ADDRESS OR ADD A NEW ONE?

Log into your OOSTOR.COM account where you can edit your existing address or opt to add an address.

MY ITEM HASN'T BEEN DELIVERED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Contact the Seller directly from the relevant order on your orders page. Follow up your order and ask for any tracking information that will help locate your order. If you don’t receive a response after a reasonable period of time, then you can escalate the matter. If you have tried other methods, such as a PayPal dispute, but the issue remains unresolved, forward your purchase confirmation email to orders@oostor.com and we’ll try and help you resolve the matter.

ARE THERE CHARGES ON ITEMS FROM UK SELLERS?

If you are buying from outside the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be covered by you as we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be.


Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Please note when ordering from a seller at OOSTOR.COM, you are the importer of the item and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the goods will be received.
